The Marri Gum timber slabs for this table were sourced from Western Australia where it grows in abundance.

The unmistakable gum veins of Marri Gum are carefully dissolved & then methodically filled with black epoxy. This serves to stabilise the timber, fill the voids & when finished provides a striking & totally unique piece.
